What is a Rainbow Ribbon School?
The aim of the Rainbow Ribbon Schools (RRS) initiative is to inspire HCPSS school leaders to provide a safe and affirming environment for LGBTQIA+ students. Feedback from LGBTQIA+ students will be central to the RRS application and evaluation process. Rainbow Ribbon Schools will be recognized by HCPSS, the Board of Education, and CARY as outstanding supporters of LGBTQIA+ students.

How do I sign up?
Review the Rainbow Ribbon School Application Checklist and fill out the Intent To Apply form within the checklist.
Intent to Apply forms are due October 30, 2024.
